H1N1 Updates

To date, a number of CCAD students, like those at most other colleges and universities, have experienced flu-like symptoms since the start of the fall 2009 semester.

Because the medical community is no longer testing individuals for the H1N1 virus unless they are in a high-risk group, we are unable to report a specific number of confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus on our campus. However, approximately two to four students are reporting basic flu-like symptoms daily with no serious complications. These students could be experiencing the seasonal flu, the H1N1 flu, or another similar medical condition. See the full update on the Student Health page.

Members of MidState Educators Eligible to Apply for Scholarships

Current members of MidState Educators Credit Union and their children who are  graduating from high school in 2010 are eligible to apply for five one-year scholarships worth $2,000 each. Deadline to apply is Feb. 6, 2010. Scholarships will be awarded based upon academic achievement, community / extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, written essay and financial need. CCAD Alert Emergency Notification System

Through CCAD Alert, CCAD can contact you or a family member in the event of a campus emergency by cell phone, e-mail, and/or text messaging. Registration is easy. Go to the Alert Emergency Notification System page (under in the Safety & Security section under College Services) for detailed instructions.

CCAD's Revitalized Brand
