Fine Arts alumni Clint Davidson (CCAD 2000) and Bobby Silver (CCAD 1999), and Advertising & Graphic Design alumnus Paul Giovis (CCAD 2012) worked on 614 magazine’s 2013 ColumBest cover.

The May cover featured Jeni Britton Bauer of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams standing in front of a chalkboard elaborately sketched with images ranging from ice cream cones to burgers to wine glasses to a shirt and tie.

The magazine initially hired Silver, a co-owner of Yellow Brick Pizza who is known for his artwork that illustrates their specialty pizzas. Silver brought a few fellow alumni with him for assistance in covering the 8-foot by 9-foot wall.

The artists were featured in the magazine, where they talked about their inspiration for the wall and other projects they are working on. To read the full story, click here.
