Alumnus brings medical illustration expertise to campus

Illustration alumnus Anthony S. Baker (CCAD 1986) returned to campus to share his medical illustration expertise with CCAD students Monday, February 21 in Canzani Center Auditorium Auditorium.

Baker is a medical illustrator and graphic designer who also does project planning and management. After earning a degree in medical illustration from The Ohio State University (OSU), Baker worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital and the University of Cincinnati’s Department of Neurosurgery and Mayfield Clinic.

Baker’s illustrations have been published in professional journals, medical textbooks, and other print and web material. He currently works for the Center for Knowledge Management at OSU. He is a Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI) and a professional member of the Association of Medical Illustrators.

His lecture was presented as part of the Visiting Artists Series, which is sponsored in part by the Skestos Endowment Fund for Visiting Artists & Lecturers, the Ohio Arts Council, and Downtown Columbus’s Renaissance Hotel.
