Kristi Yamaguchi’s Dream Big, Little Pig is—to say the least—popular. It’s been featured on NBC’s Today Show and CBS’s The Talk in addition to book signings nationwide. Now, the tale of Poppy the big-dreaming pig, has topped (err, nearly topped—but second place is nothing to scoff at) The New York Times Bestseller List.
For the week of April 3, 2011, the book illustrated by Illustration alumnus Tim Bowers (CCAD ’79) was ranked second for children’s picture books, behind Victoria Kann’s Silverlicious. Rankings reflect sales for the week ending March 19 for books sold in both print and electronic formats as reported by vendors.
