Get to work. We'll help you.
We put together opportunities for you to share with the world what you're all about.
The Recruiting on Campus (ROC) series is your chance to meet future employers. We frequently host companies like Pixar, Goodby Silverstein, Fisher-Price, GE Appliances and Abercrombie & Fitch who come to CCAD to give presentations, visit classes, host networking events, look at portfolios and interview students.
Want to see your favorite local companies in action? As part of our ROC on the Road program, we'll take you on trips to see companies from American Greetings and Interbrand to LPK.
Connections Career Fair is typically held in November and gives employers an opportunity to recruit CCAD's undergraduate and graduate students for paid opportunities and credit-eligible internships. This event is a traditional career fair on CCAD's campus. Employers may register for a table to promote art- and design-oriented internships and career opportunities, and students can network with employers, share their portfolio or resume, and discuss available creative roles.
Resume? Check. Cover letter. We've got you covered. We'll help you refine the skills you need to get the dream gig.
Planning ahead for your first internship? Whether you’re searching for an on-campus job, volunteer opportunities, or freelance work, Careers Services staff can meet with you one-on-one to help you review your goals and prepare your application materials. Resumes and cover letters are our jam.
We'll make sure you're ready for the tough questions. We offer presentations and workshops throughout the year on everything from how to interview with impact to how to build a strong web presence.
Looking for an internship or full-time positions after you graduate? We continuously add job opportunities and art and design positions to the CCAD job board on Handshake.
Bring your A-game and show off your best work once a semester in the CCAD Art Fair. This juried event occurs twice a year on campus on the first Saturdays of December and April.

The Advising Office provides support through one-on-one guidance as you carve out, stitch together and create your own story at CCAD. Your advisor can review your individual academic plan and help you prepare your schedule for upcoming semesters.
New Student Class Scheduling: Advising registers all new students in their first semester schedule. Schedules are created once the tuition deposit is paid through the Admissions Office. First-year students will receive their schedule at New Student Orientation and can preview a typical first semester schedule by reviewing the First Semester Schedule Guide for First Year Students. Transfer students will receive their schedule in the mail or at Transfer Student Orientation. Transfer student schedules are created by considering awarded transfer credit, course availability, and specific major requirements.
Incoming Credits: Advising completes transfer credit evaluations for all acceptable types of incoming credits, including college credit, Advanced Placement (AP) Credit, and International Baccalaureate Credit (IB). If you are interested in transferring college credit to CCAD, please review our Transfer Credit Guidelines for a list of course recommendations. For a list of AP/IB credits, visit the Transfer Policy section here. College transcripts and/or official AP/IB scores must be submitted to:

CCAD is committed to helping you become an effective, self-motivated learner. The office of Disability & Access Services provides reasonable accommodations for cognitive, psychological, or physical/medical disabilities. To begin the process, admitted students can contact us at [email protected]. For more information, please visit the Disability & Access Services MY CCAD page. At this page you can review resources that outline frequently asked questions, policies and procedures, and documentation requirements for various types of accommodation requests.
We want you to thrive here at CCAD.
Thriving means pursuing wellness, practicing balance, and treating our neighbors and ourselves with the whole person in mind. It is an ongoing process, not a final product, and each wellness area in our lives — the physical, emotional, social, occupational, and intellectual — is important. The Counseling & Wellness Center provides limited, free counseling services to students who meet criteria for service. We want to help students meet their goals at CCAD.
To schedule an appointment or to learn more, visit the Counseling & Wellness Center MY CCAD page.
CCAD expects all students to carry health insurance that provides coverage for both preventative and emergency health care needs. CCAD does not offer a domestic student health insurance plan so any student without insurance is encouraged to review healthcare.
International students attending CCAD on an I-20 visa are automatically enrolled in CCAD’s International Student Health Insurance Plan. The International Student Health Insurance Plan is a comprehensive plan that provides coverage for preventative care (including immunizations), major medical emergencies, prescriptions, and mental health. International students may also choose to enroll their eligible dependents (spouses and children) in the plan for an additional fee.
There are many convenient care options and a comprehensive hospital located near campus.
