Commencement address & remarks
At commencement, CCAD will award two honorary doctorate degrees at Commencement this spring. We will honor Chuck Csuri and Emily Pilloton. Mr. Csuri is a founding figure in digital art and is often called the father of computer animation. We are lucky enough to have him right here in Columbus, and he has many ties to the college. Ms. Pilloton is an architect, designer, and educator at University of California, Berkeley. Emily is a dynamic and inspiring speaker, and she is an important figure in design for social justice and collaborative community projects.
Every year, CCAD faculty members from each major select an Outstanding Senior based on their academic and artistic accomplishments. Read more about the 2018 Outstanding Seniors here.
