Meet members of the media during this interactive workshop. A panel of journalists will share best practices and tips for how you can gain media coverage for yourself, your business, or your upcoming exhibitions. Following a Q&A, you’ll break out into groups to write and workshop your elevator pitch and brainstorm potential story ideas that can help you make headlines. Join us beforehand, at 5:30 p.m., to network, enjoy light refreshments, and get a new headshot by Sarah Pfeifer (Photography, 2020) at no additional charge. This session is planned for an in-person experience with masks required.
Meet the panelists:
- Joel Oliphint, associate editor, Columbus Alive
- Earl Hopkins, arts and culture reporter, The Columbus Dispatch
- Suzanne Goldsmith, senior editor, Columbus Monthly
- Tonisha Johnson, multimedia journalist, Spectrum News 1
