Beeler Gallery at Columbus College of Art & Design hosts Columbus filmmaker Roger Beebe for a presentation of his Films for One to Eight Projectors, screened as part of Beeler Gallery's newest exhibition, 1,000 Miles Per Hour. Beebe’s work consists primarily of multiple-projector performances and essayistic videos that explore the world of found images and the "found" landscapes of late capitalism. His performance at CCAD includes several newer 16mm works alongside some of his best-known projector performances, including the seven-projector show-stopping Last Light of a Dying Star (2008/2011). Films for One to Eight Projectors also will include a sampling of recent essayistic videos, presented as live-narrated documentaries.
