Show Description:

The New Colossus uses anthropomorphic sculptures to create a scene of global injustice. Using the Syrian refugee crisis as a catalyst, it seeks to explain the emotional and physical hardship behind war torn displacement. The work points to a cyclical history of oppression and considers the benevolence of humanity.
