Columbus College of Art & Design's Industrial Design program presents LGBTQ+ & Design, a new event in the Design Lecture Series. The event will take place Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, with a reception at 6 p.m., a panel discussion at 6:30 p.m., and an opportunity to meet with the designers after the talk.

The panelists for the 2019 LGBTQ+ & Design are:

  1. Jim Bruner, Sultan of Systems at The PAST Foundation
  2. Jay Highland, Chief Creative Officer at Chute Gerdeman
  3. Jessica Hitchcock, Freelance Designer focusing on CAD modeling
  4. Jess Mathews, Founder of Epic Small Consulting


The panel discussion will be moderated by CCAD President Melanie Corn and will focus on how professionals in the LGBTQ+ community are redefining a diverse world.

The event is free and open to the public.
