Columbus College of Art & Design’s Graduate Studies department presents a talk by Andrea Myers, whose artistic practice explores the space between two and three dimensionality, hybridizing painting, sculpture, and fiber arts. Assistant Professor of Sculpture and Expanded Media at Kent State University at Stark, Myers has participated in residencies at Ox-Bow in Saugatuck, Michigan; Fortress Man Textile Symposium in Daugavpils, Latvia; and the Textile Art Center in New York City. Myers is a recipient of the 2018 Greater Columbus Arts Council Artist Exchange in Dresden, Germany, and will return to Germany in 2019 for a residency at coGalleries in Berlin.
