Sherman Alexie is an award-winning writer who grew up on the Spokane Indian Reservation and now lives in Seattle.
His best-known works include The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven and War Dances, which won the 2010 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction.
Alexie will talk about his work at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the Canzani Center Auditorium at Columbus College of Art & Design (60 Cleveland Ave.) as part of the Visiting Artists & Scholars series at the Beeler Gallery.
