John Donahue teaches abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, and research methods. Donahue's primary research focus has been media psychology. Donahue has published articles and book chapters on advertising, journalism, and graphic design. Donahue's work has been presented at conferences in the fields of both psychology and mass communications. Donahue's most recent article was an empirical study as to whether better storytellers are considered more romantically attractive.
