Lesley Jenike received her B.F.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College in 2000, an M.F.A. in Poetry Writing from The Ohio State University in 2003, and Ph.D. in American Literature and Poetry Writing from the University of Cincinnati in 2008. Jenike’s the author of two full-length collections of poetry, Ghost of Fashion (2008) and Holy Island (2014). Her poems have appeared in Poetry, The Gettysburg Review, The Southern Review, Rattle, Gulf Coast, Smartish Pace, 32 Poems, and many other nationally-recognized literary journals. She’s been the recipient of fellowships and scholarships from the Ohio Arts Council, the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. She teaches literature and writing classes at CCAD and her research interests include film and theatre, women’s literature, as well as historical and contemporary intersections between the visual arts and literature. www.ccad.digication.com/ljenike.
