Rebecca J. Robinson teaches tailoring, patternmaking, specialty design, and fashion history. Robinson is also an online instructor in the apparel department of North Dakota State University, teaching apparel, dress theory, and CAD through their Distance and Continuing Education program. She earned a BS from The Ohio State University in 1987 and a Masters in Design from University of Cincinnati in 2003. Before coming to CCAD in 2012, she was an associate professor of fashion merchandising at the Art Institute of Ohio. She has authored supplemental fashion textbook materials for Prentice Hill and was a contributing author to The Men’s Fashion Reader, A History of Men’s Fashion, Fairchild Publishing, 2008. She has also been a freelance bridal designer since 2005.
