We want to provide you with a home at the center of our community. It is proven that living on campus helps students soar academically; therefore CCAD is dedicated to the residency requirement that students live in the residence halls during their first year enrolled at CCAD. All incoming undergraduate students are required to complete an online housing application or to request an exemption. See details about each below.

Fall timeline

Feb. 1 – Apr. 30 Applications open
May 15 Priority deadline for housing placement
May 16 – Aug. 23 Applications accepted as space permits
July 1 Roommate Request Update deadline
July 23
 
Housing assignments (with roommate info) emailed to student’s CCAD.EDU address
Aug. 23 Residence halls open for Move-In starting at 9 a.m.

To apply for housing

All 3 steps below must be completed to have a Housing Application eligible for assignment:

1 - Submit your $300 non-refundable Tuition Deposit. If you have not done so, click here.

2 - Complete and submit the online Housing Application

3 - Submit your $250 (refundable) housing security deposit on-line via Self-Service.


Payment on Self-Service with e-check is free. If you pay with a credit card a service fee applies.

Potential housing exemption

If you meet one of the permitted exemptions, including living in Central Ohio and are interested in living off-campus you may also complete a Residency Requirement Exemption Request. Residency exemption decisions are made by the Office of Residence Life and are generally communicated within 14 business days.
