MFA Thesis Exhibition
This year's MFA Thesis Show, entitled Curious to See, features the culminating achievements of the Columbus College of Art and Design's 2016 class of MFA candidates. This year's show will be the first MFA thesis show featured in the newly remodeled Beeler Gallery.
Their work ranges from sculpture, installation, video, and performance to illustration, drawing, painting, and digital media.
Artists include: Zachary Coneybeer, Robert Falcone, Jing He, Ron Horsley, Sunil Ketty, Jiaqi Kou, Victoria Lavorini, Sam Meador, Keith Richner, Michelle Rupel, Mary Skrenta, Grace Strattan, and Benjamin Yacavone.
CCAD’s MFA in Visual Arts: New Projects is a project-based, non-media-specific curriculum that focuses on individual artistic/design development and creative leadership. It brings together talented individuals from a variety of different media to build a community that fosters exploration, professionalism, and creative success.
The opening reception for Curious to See will be held April 8 at 6:00 in Beeler Gallery. The show, open and free to the public, will be up until April 28.
