Conductor Rossen Milanov has a rich and extensive history of appearing in ensembles across the globe and was named Bulgaria’s Musician of the Year in 2005. So what does he think of the city?
“Columbus’ arts scene is quite cosmopolitan,” Milanov told Columbus Makes Art. “I love the fact that here one can find the complete spectrum of artistic experiences, from fringe to classical and from pop to high art. There is an encouraging sense of working together towards a common goal among the arts organizations and that makes the Columbus arts community unique.”
The people who create art in Columbus have amazing stories. Check out more at columbusmakesart.com.
