Develop your craft, earlier.

From the beginning, you can collaborate with students in other majors as your learn essential creative concepts from color theory to fundamental design. In your first year CORE Studio classes, you'll explore traditional materials like pencil, charcoal and paint, and digital tools like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. You'll also start to learn how to sell your work and yourself as a professional artist and designer, and that includes both how to price and protect your creations. For a real competitive advantage, you can even pursue CCAD's business minor while you work on your major.

Inform your art and design.

At CCAD, you'll learn the ins and outs of your major. But you'll also study history, philosophy, science and other subjects in our CORE Liberal Arts courses. And you'll leave CCAD with a well-rounded education that will inform the way you make art and design.
