Alexander Davis

Alexander Davis is a fundraising and nonprofit professional serving as the Columbus College of Art and Design’s first Director of Major Gifts. Alexander comes to CCAD from Gateway Film Center, where he served as Director of Development from October 2016 to October 2020, growing their development program through a mix of new public and private grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors. Before moving to Columbus in 2016, Alexander served as the Executive Director of Development for HillVets, a startup veterans service organization based in Washington, DC.

Alexander has managed political campaigns and worked as a political consultant in every state from Massachusetts to Virginia, plus Pennsylvania and Ohio. He hold a bachelors degree in political science and a masters degree in political management from The George Washington University. He currently serves on the board of Equality Ohio as Treasurer, and chairs the legislative and finance committees. He and his husband Chase live in Columbus with their dogs Oliver and Winston.
