Jessi Walker has worked at the intersection of education and the creative industry for over 13 years, cultivating meaningful and innovative learning experiences in a variety of settings. Previously, she was a Design Lead in the Learning Experience Design department at McGraw Hill where she developed her skills in art direction, project leadership, media production, prototyping, user research and synthesis, collaborative facilitation, as well as innovation in creative solutions leveraging UX and design thinking methodologies.
Jessi earned her BFA in Visual Arts from Marshall University and her MFA in Photography from The Ohio State University. She taught for several years as an adjunct instructor at the OSU Marion and Main Campuses as well as coordinated the OSU Kuhn Fine Arts Gallery. She co-founded the City Arts Center, a non-profit community arts center in Delaware, Ohio. Jessi also serves on the Advisory Board for the Digital Design Program at the Delaware Area Career Center, where she contributes to the next generation of creative professionals as a curriculum advisor and student mentor.
