Sarah (Thomas) Fazeli studied Writing, Theatre, and Film at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts,) where she earned a self-designed, interdisciplinary MFA. She writes creative nonfiction and memoir, most recently in the anthology "In Season," which received a reading at the 2018 AWP conference in Tampa. You can find her online on, Xenith, and She is also a performer and SAG member, and was a story consultant on “In the Dark,” winner, live action short, at Boulder, Hollywood, and Bermuda International Film Festivals; co-producer of the SHINE storytelling series at Santa Monica Playhouse. She instructs young writers at Thurber House. BA from Ohio Wesleyan University. She teaches Writing and the Arts in the Writing, Literature, and Philosophy department.
