Tosha Stimage is a multi-disciplinary artist who came to Columbus College of Art & Design from Oakland, California. Her work focuses on the structural and disambiguous nature of language and its relation to black identity. Her work employs coded messages to investigate the societal constructs of race and violence. She earned a BFA from CCAD in 2011 and an MFA from California College of the Arts in 2016. She is a recipient of The Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship, The Murphy & Cadogan Award, and Real Time and Space residency, and she is currently an AICAD Fellow. See more at toshastimage.com.
