The best of Columbus College of Art & Design’s artists and designers was on view on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in Chroma: Best of CCAD. The annual campus-wide juried show and celebration features exemplary pieces from each of the college’s majors as well as CCAD’s CORE programs and its first-year MFA students.

    The Columbus community is invited to meet the Class of 2018, as seniors gather in their exhibition spaces throughout campus.

    6 – 6:30 p.m. Pop-Up Fashion Show

    While Senior Fashion Show is later this week, you can see work from CCAD’s up-and-coming fashion designers, as models strut their stuff down the Quad.

    • Animation: Take part in a virtual reality drawing demo in Kinney Hall 308.
    • History of Art & Visual Culture: Enjoy a show of CCAD alumni prints juried by History of Art & Visual Culture in Canzani Multipurpose Room.
    • First-Year Exhibitions: Grab a bite to eat and take a look at the incredible work from CCAD’s First-Year CORE Studies program on the 2nd Floor of Design Studios on Broad. (Pizza sponsored by Donatos.)
    • Alumni Relations: Alumni can join Summerfield Advertising for an interactive experience in Ampersand Emporium (and  enter to win a copy of the Columbus Book Project).
    • Eat & Drink: Snag a drink in one of two bars on campus, and grab a bite from one of several food trucks, including Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. (Canyon Bar food sponsored by Pat and Gracie’s. Crane Lounge Bar food sponsored by Brio/Bravo.)
    • Make, Take, Create: The CCAD Student Chroma Committee has planned several activities throughout campus, including screen printing, a marbled paper project, and more.
