Explore community art classes in Columbus, Ohio, in real studio spaces alongside practicing artists and educators. Build your foundations in art and design, experiment with different media, or try something new through STEAM-focused offerings—all with the support and space to keep growing.
We offer classes throughout the year:
- Saturday Art Classes run concurrently with the college semester, with one 10-week session during the spring semester and another in the fall semester.
- Weeklong Creative Summer Workshops are offered throughout June and early July with morning, afternoon, and all-day options available.
- Evening Art Classes meet once a week for five consecutive weeks during the semester. Courses are designed for adult learners and focus on building skills in mediums like oil painting, sewing, digital tools, and more.
- College Preview is a two-week summer residential program for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (grades 10-12) to experience college life, earn three college credits, and take focused classes in their desired major.

YOUTH ART CLASSES
Give their creativity room to grow. Students in grades 1–12 can discover new interests and experience the excitement of making at CCAD.
TEEN ART CLASSES & COLLEGE PREVIEW
Take your interests further. High school students can strengthen their creative practice, prepare for what comes next, or get a firsthand look at life at an art and design college.
ADULT ART CLASSES
Make time to create—whether that means picking up a new medium, returning to an old favorite, or simply doing something for yourself.
