What You'll Learn
Led by local artists and educators, you’ll gain new ideas and approaches that make your art education programs more practical, imaginative, and inclusive. You’ll explore strategies that help students think creatively, strengthen their learning process and problem-solving skills, and create art that reflects their own artistic voices. Whether you teach elementary students or high schoolers, you’ll leave with actionable methods that encourage curiosity, confidence, and creativity in every classroom.
What You’ll Take Away
Learn how to make art learning processes more accessible for all students and explore inclusive approaches that celebrate different ways of making, seeing, and understanding art. Our goal is to equip you with frameworks and teaching methods that invite every learner into the creative process.
You’ll take home new lesson ideas, adaptable projects, and classroom frameworks that support creative growth and lifelong learning. Each workshop encourages you to create art alongside peers and connect with a vibrant community of educators who care deeply about the arts.
Where You’ll Create
The day takes place on CCAD’s vibrant campus, where creativity is always in motion. Taught by industry professionals in our fully equipped studios, each workshop provides an unforgettable opportunity to create art in a supportive, inspiring environment. With all materials provided, you’ll explore new processes and approaches that enrich your learning experience and help you reimagine what’s possible in your classroom.
You’ll also receive digital resources and follow-up materials to help you implement what you learned once you’re back in the classroom.
