Through ceramics and wood, this body of work explores masculine beauty as a tender–rigid duality, where vulnerability and strength coexist as authentic expressions of desire and identity.

This body of work presents the experience of sublime beauty as it relates to masculinity, vulnerability, identity, and desire. Exploring the dualities of rigid and tender, sharp and soft, I reexamine the fixed ideals of traditional binary and how they are shaped by shame, performance, and longing. The work ultimately concludes that power and delicacy are not oppositional but interdependent. Beauty, here, is not offered as weakness, but as authenticity that transcends rather than delimits.

Opening Reception is March 26, 2026, from 5-7 p.m.
