He is also the mind behind the influential alternative comic Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, which sparked spin-offs like Squee!, Fillerbunny, and I Feel Sick—all of which have earned devoted fanbases over the years.

In addition to his work as a cartoonist, Vasquez is a producer, writer, director, and voice actor, known for pushing creative boundaries and cultivating unique, often subversive worlds. Operating under aliases like Mr. Scolex and Chancre Scolex, he has carved out a distinct voice that resonates across generations of fans.
