The Accidentals are a female-fronted indie folk-punk band, combining Americana lyrics, pop melodies, and punk energy, led by multi-instrumentalists Katie Larson and Sav Buist, with drummer Katelynn Corll. Pop Matters calls them “one of the best live performances you might see in a lifetime” and NPR says they are “some of the most compelling songwriters of our time.” The journey of The Accidentals commenced in a high school classroom in Traverse City, Michigan. Following the 2016 release of the Parking Lot EP, Huffington Post touted The Accidentals among its “Sweet 16 of 2016.” Billboard called them “the band to watch.”
