Laurenn McCubbin teaches painting and color theory: applied concepts. McCubbin is a documentarian and large-scale interactive installation artist. She has illustrated several comics and graphic novels with McSweeney’s, Marvel Comics, Vertigo, Last Gasp, and Dark Horse. She was previously the art director for Image Comics, and her graphic novel RENT GIRL was opted for television by Showtime. BFA in graphic design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 2000; MFA in studio art, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 2011; MFA in experimental and documentary art, Duke University, 2013.
