Matthew Mitchem, PhD teaches Philosophy at CCAD. A teacher, author, editor, and international lecturer in philosophy and media studies, Dr. Mitchem has presented research and commentary on topics ranging from advertising ideology in the world of political campaigns to the cultural implications of participatory video to online videos during the political uprisings of 2011. Dr. Mitchem earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Comparative Religion from Miami University in 2001, a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Miami University in 2003, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the European Graduate School in Switzerland in 2011.
