CCAD to hold online session June 16 for Ohio high school art educators, counselors

Health and safety, a top priority for students this fall

Columbus College of Art & Design is open and welcoming students for Fall Semester, focusing on providing an exceptional educational experience while ensuring that students’ health and safety remain a top priority, according to Vice President for Enrollment Management D. Jean Hester. Ohio high school art educators and high school counselors can learn more by joining CCAD Talks online session on June 16 at 5 p.m.

“To help high school art educators and high school counselors best serve their students, we want to get their questions answered about how we are responding to students’ needs during this challenging time,” Hester said. “We’ll let them know how CCAD will be approaching course instruction and making changes on campus to ensure social distancing and safe practices in response to the COVID-19 crisis.”

In addition to Hester, the session also will have on hand Dr. Melanie Corn, CCAD President, and Thomas Gattis, Dean of Undergraduate Studies to share information and answer questions.

Hester said, “We want students interested in art and design to know they will receive a quality education and feel safe when they attend CCAD. I encourage high school art educators and high school counselors to sign up for this informational session to learn more.”

To register for the online session, email admissions@ccad.edu.
