Student galleries

CCAD has four student galleries used primarily for senior exhibitions in the Fine Arts Thesis program. Thesis shows typically occur in the later half of the spring semester to allow as much development time as possible. Each Fine Arts major completes a capstone experience in the form of a solo exhibition. This exhibition displays the student’s thesis final portfolio of work for one week in one of our galleries, including an opening or closing celebration sometime during that week from 5 to 7 p.m.

These venues accommodate other types of exhibitions, including experimental group shows throughout the academic year. Galleries are scheduled at the beginning of each semester and are managed by the thesis faculty teaching Fine Arts Senior Projects and the chair of Fine Arts. Gallery hours are the same as general access to each building.
