Rebecca Zomchek

Professor Rebecca Zomchek is the Associate Dean for Entertainment Design at CCAD, directing the Illustration, Comics, Game Art & Design, and Animation programs. Additionally, Zomchek teaches Illustration Markets and Advanced Digital Illustration in CCAD’s Illustration program. Zomchek also has taught and written courses for CCAD, the Ringling College of Art and Design, and Miami University.
Zomchek earned a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration as Visual Essay from The School of Visual Arts in New York City and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration (Summa Cum Laude with Honors) from Syracuse University. She has worked as a freelance illustrator, a game design concept artist, and has illustrated several children's books with Scholastic Publishing and Random Houses’ Bantam Books. Zomchek’s work features both technically rendered realistic digital paintings as well as educational and fun images for children.
