CCAD Admissions Requirements
You’re taking the first step toward becoming a CCAD student. Our graduates go on to become leaders in vital and growing creative industries, and you’ll follow their paths on your own distinctive journey. We’re here to guide you through the application process, so that diving into our creative community is easy and exciting.
Get to what matters, right away. At CCAD, you’ll start in your major from day one. You’ll bring your ideas to life through our rigorous, studio-based curriculum, which integrates practices to prepare you for a professional career.
In CCAD’s unique New Projects MFA program, you’ll pursue the development of projects rather than the study of specific media. The program also focuses on marketing your work as a creative professional. In our two-year, 60-hour curriculum of project-based thinking, you’ll design, create and defend your work.
As an international student, you make invaluable artistic, cultural and intellectual contributions to life on campus. The diversity you embody, as well as your unique perspective, moves art forward, and it makes our community at CCAD even stronger.
When you transfer to CCAD, you join our creative community and make the decision to earn more than a degree. Like all of our students, you commit to igniting your full creative potential and sending yourself into a successful career.
If you’re a middle school or high school student considering a future in the visual arts, CCAD’s pre-college programs will give you new perspective and experiences in art and design. This is your chance to take real college classes and participate in workshops and campus activities. You’ll interact with our faculty and staff, gain insight into possible careers and learn what life is like as a CCAD student.
