Career Preparation Built Into Your Degree
Creative careers take many forms—from joining established studios to launching freelance practices or building independent businesses. Through courses in business for creatives, professional practice, and experiential learning, students develop the knowledge to manage clients, understand contracts, build sustainable creative practices, and confidently transition from college to career.
Real-World Experience
Professional experience begins long before graduation. Through industry-connected coursework, client projects, internships, and experiential learning, CCAD students apply their creative practice in professional settings, earn academic credit through approved internships, and graduate with the experience, connections, and confidence to launch meaningful creative careers.
On-Campus Employment
On-campus employment gives students the opportunity to build professional skills while contributing to the CCAD community. Whether supporting exhibitions, assisting in studios and labs, or working across campus departments, these roles provide meaningful workplace experience that complements students' academic journey. The Human Resources team connects students with these opportunities and provides resources to support them throughout their employment experience.
