Important dates to remember

Priority Application deadline:  March 1st, 2024

We continue to accept applications on a rolling basis after the priority deadline. However, to ensure space and scholarships are still available, we encourage you to complete your application as early as possible.

Your portfolio should contain 15–20 examples of your work, which can be a combination of images and time-based work. You should submit your portfolio entirely as digital files on the apply page.

Tell us about your artwork and your experiences as an artist. Describe your influences and creative practice. What do you want to accomplish in graduate school and how do you believe CCAD can contribute to your artistic growth? This statement should be between 250-500 words

PDF format

Three letters of recommendations from faculty, guidance counselors, professional artists, employers, or other adults not related to you. You should submit this through the apply page as well.

3.0 GPA preferred. Unofficial transcripts may be used for application review, but an official transcript must be provided upon admission.

CCAD is a test-optional college and graduate students do not have any entrance exam requirements. However, you may provide GRE scores if you want to enhance your application consideration.

Financing your education doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Complete your FAFSA, send us the information and CCAD will use this to figure out a package that works for you.

If you are an international student from a country where English is not the primary language, you must submit proof of your English proficiency. A minimum score of TOEFL iBT 80 or IELTS 6.5 is required. You should request your score through the test center; you can submit it via postal mail. CCAD’s code for TOEFL results is 1085.

Why User Experience Design? Why study it now? Who do you want to be after completing this degree? As part of your reflection, we invite you to help us get to know you. Share information on your personal and professional experiences, including your goals and how you anticipate the MPS in User Experience Design will help you succeed. Statements should be 250-500 words total.
