Meet our Associate Vice President for Development
Erika Gable
Erika Gable is a nonprofit leader with a passion for art, education, and nonprofits. At CCAD, Gable provides vision and oversight to the Development department, which advances the mission of the college through fundraising, alumni engagement, and the promotion of CCAD within central Ohio and beyond. Gable earned a Bachelor of Science in Art from University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master’s of Business Administration from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, and a Master’s of Public Administration from Ohio State’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs. In addition to her work at CCAD, she runs her own nonprofit consultancy and volunteers in the community, including serving as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Central Ohio.

In advance of their senior year, two CCAD students—James Flowers (Fine Arts, 2024) and Chloe Cao (Fine Arts, 2024)—were selected to participate in well-respected art programs.
Each year, Columbus College of Art & Design identifies the person with the highest grade point average throughout their college career and selects them as valedictorian of their graduating class.
CCAD is here for fashion’s future—and in 2023, we went big, as the annual-favorite CCAD Fashion Show was hosted at an exciting new venue: KEMBA Live! in the Arena District.
For the eighth year, Columbus College of Art & Design has recognized students’ talents with the written word with its Creative Writing Awards. Students submitted work in the categories of Poetry, Prose, and Screenwriting; first and second place awards were given for each category.
