As the Senior Academic Advisor, Callan provides affirming, approachable support that demystifies and alleviates the weight of administrative processes so students feel empowered, accountable, and focused on what they came to CCAD to learn.

Callan holds bachelor’s degrees in art therapy and psychology from Capital University and a Master of Fine Arts from CCAD, with a focus on painting, textiles, papermaking, and academic administration. Shaped by strong mentorship, they are committed to supporting students from diverse backgrounds, advocating for them across campus, and utilizing their institutional knowledge to foster a positive community.

Callan maintains an active creative practice in painting, quilting, and botanical natural fiber dyeing. They spend time at the studio, teach at the Cultural Arts Center, and travel for studio workshops, staying closely connected to the creative spirit of CCAD students.
