Chris Mundell joined CCAD in 2007. He has held a variety of positions in student affairs with an emphasis on student success initiatives and learner support services. Mundell has been instrumental in expanding student support services on campus, including the implementation of CCAD’s academic early intervention system, student behavioral intervention and care team and the Creative Coaches peer-to-peer tutoring program.

As Vice President for Institutional Engagement, Mundell is responsible for key programs and services that enrich the quality of student life on campus. His responsibilities include oversight of academic advising and learner support services, counseling and wellness services, residence life, dining services, student involvement and orientation, campus safety and security, and student conduct.  

Mundell’s career in higher education has spanned 11 years and includes experience in several functional areas, from academic advising to disability services. Mundell completed his master’s degree in student affairs and higher education at Miami University. He is a past president of the Ohio College Personnel Association (OCPA) and a graduate of both the ACPA Mid-Level Management Institute and the nationally recognized Leadership Columbus Program. A slightly fanatical soccer dad, Mundell spends his free time coaching youth sports and enjoying time with his family.
