Dr. Dan Shellenbarger is the General Manager of Ohio Public Media Services at Ideastream Public Media, where he manages three statewide public media news and information organizations: The Ohio Channel, The Ohio Newsroom, and The Statehouse News Bureau.
He is an Emmy Award-winning documentary director and editor and has produced hundreds of shows for Ohio-PBS. He received his PhD, MA (Art Education), MFA, and BA (Journalism), all from The Ohio State University.
Dan has taught as an adjunct art instructor at The Ohio State University and Columbus College of Art & Design. He has an active art practice and continues to show in a variety of media.
