Following retirement from the role of Director of First-Year Writing at Ohio State, Edgar Singleton began teaching writing at CCAD in 2021. Edgar is also active in the Columbus musical community, working formerly as Grants Manager of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and performing as a cellist with multiple local organizations, including the Central Ohio Symphony and the Worthington Chamber Orchestra.
Edgar received his PhD in English from Ohio State in 1992 and has degrees in French and Music from Bowling Green State University. A resident of Columbus since 1984, Edgar and his wife, Lynn, reside in Clintonville.
