Ekundayo Igeleke is an educator, writer, photographer, and Black Studies scholar with over 15 years of experience as a grassroots organizer and national strategist. Born to Nigerian and Southern Baptist parents, his work sits at the intersection of culture and politics.
He currently serves as the Director of Political Education and Culture at Black Men Build, Editor-in-Chief of WARTIME Magazine, and Founder of Culture Dream Lab. He is also a PhD Candidate in Comparative Studies at The Ohio State University, a recipient of the 2024 Global Arts + Humanities Society Fellowship and Graduate Certificate in Curatorial Practice.
In 2022, Ekundayo produced his first solo multimedia show, Undone Transitions, a meditation on the pain and joy of Black life. His curatorial work extends to collaborations with Artists Against Apartheid, Black Men Build, and Black Sun Eternal.

When not in radical action, Ekundayo is with his family and village. He can be found watching anime and basketball, practicing yoga, engaging with community arts, and reading three to four books at a time.
