Elizabeth Leidy is an award-winning architect who lives in Columbus, Ohio. As an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), she has served on the Center for Architecture and Design (CFAD) board and the ARCHway mentoring program. Elizabeth began her design career at Kent State University, and after completing her degrees in architecture, she moved to Boston, where she won first place as the Rotch Scholar. This scholarship provided a stipend for one year of paid travel to research marketplaces in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Rome, and Istanbul. Traversing the globe and absorbing design, culture, and food greatly impacted her career. Elizabeth returned to study in the UK, earning a Master of Architecture degree from the Architectural Association. While living in London, she gained professional experience working for Martha Schwartz and Thomas Heatherwick. Elizabeth has taught for 9+ years at CCAD and previously taught architecture at the Ohio State University and the Boston Architectural College.
