Jason’s artwork, inspired by the golden age of illustration and layered with mythic resonance, has achieved international recognition in both illustration and fine art circles. His drawings have been featured in Graphite Magazine, and his paintings have appeared in Imagine FX as well as Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and Spectrum Art Annual. He has been interviewed in Issue 28 of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and included in The Art of Fantasy, published by Frances Lincoln. Suntup Press commissioned Jason to illustrate fine editions of Thomas Harris’ Red Dragon and Hannibal, earning him a 2021 Chesley Award nomination. In 2024, he was runner-up in the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, followed by a runner-up award for best watercolor in the 17th International ARC Salon competition. Jason has exhibited at the Society of Illustrators, and in 2023, Easton Press published his fully illustrated edition of the Brothers Grimm. By 2026, Jason will have held five major solo exhibitions, including one at Haven Gallery in New York and another at Gallery Nucleus in Portland. That same year, he will show work at the Mazza Museum of International Art from Picture Books in Ohio and Copro Gallery in Los Angeles, and illustrate two fine-edition books with publishers in Denmark and England.
