Maria Carluccio is an award-winning author and illustrator whose work has been recognized by the New York Society of Illustrators and 3x3 Magazine. Her children’s books have been published by Chronicle Books, Barefoot Books, and Henry Holt and Company, and have been translated into multiple languages worldwide.
In addition to her publishing work, Carluccio is known for her inspirational wall décor and gift products. She has licensed her artwork to major brands including Hallmark Cards, Land of Nod, Pottery Barn Kids, Target, and TeNeues.
Carluccio earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree in Illustration, with honors, from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Alongside her teaching at CCAD, she has led workshops for Creativebug.com, American Greetings, Brigham Young University, and Syracuse University.
