In the summer of 2016, Columbus College of Art & Design’s administrative and academic leaders gathered together to take a look at our recent history, discuss the needs of the college, and draft a plan for the future. In an effort to engage the entire community in a collaborative and transparent process, President Dr. Melanie Corn solicited feedback from CCAD faculty, staff, board members, alumni, and students throughout the fall.
Through more than 20 revisions, much of this input was folded into the plan, which was then approved by the Board of Trustees and brought to CCAD’s Student Agency to design into several pieces for distribution.
This plan will serve as a roadmap for decisions and act as a barometer for future opportunities at the college for the next three and a half years. In order to track our progress, the plan is accompanied by a workbook that outlines specific tactics for each objective. Completion of each step and progress toward the larger goals will be assessed semiannually.
