Industrial Design students redesign tables, chairs for Furniture Bank
Students in CCAD’s Industrial Design program are working with the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio to redesign furniture for people in need.
As part of a three-week project starting Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, about 40 CCAD seniors, juniors, and sophomores across three Industrial Design studio classes are working in groups to design and create stylish new tables, chairs, and end tables that the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio can use as templates to produce furniture for families and individuals in need.
Good Day Columbus stopped by on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, to see the students in action. Check out the Good Day Columbus videos here. And read more in Columbus Business First and The Dispatch.
