Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) will present its annual CCAD Fashion Show on Thursday, May 14, 2026, offering a dynamic new format that invites guests to experience fashion up close within the galleries of the Canzani Center.
This year’s event transforms the traditional runway into an immersive fashion exhibition, where garments move throughout Beeler Gallery and attendees encounter each look from just steps away. Featuring work from approximately 15 student designers—including both graduating Fashion Design seniors and students from across disciplines—the evening highlights fashion as wearable art, blending craftsmanship, concept, and creative expression.

From bold, ultra-feminine silhouettes that challenge contemporary ideas of gender expression to elegant, anatomically inspired garments incorporating 3D-printed structures and intricate beadwork, the show reflects the depth and diversity of CCAD’s student talent. Additional works explore themes of heritage, identity, and material innovation, demonstrating how fashion can serve as both personal narrative and artistic statement.
“The CCAD Fashion Show is a powerful reflection of the creativity, rigor, and individuality our students bring to their work,” said Suzanne Cotton, Chair of Fashion Design at CCAD. “This year’s format allows audiences to engage with each piece in a more immediate and meaningful way—highlighting not only the craftsmanship behind the garments, but the ideas and stories that drive them. It’s an exciting opportunity to experience fashion as a living, evolving form of art.”
The CCAD Fashion Show brings together artists, designers, alumni, and community members from across central Ohio, reinforcing CCAD’s role as a leading institution for creative education and a vital contributor to the region’s cultural landscape.
