Gloria Ann Shows is a Filipino-American artist, designer, and educator with work largely influenced by her multi-cultural and multi-ethnic background. She is interested in how geographical and historical narratives relate to her personal multicultural and multiethnic experience and expression. She works in scales both intimate and immersive in processes of printmaking, fiber art, and illustration. Through combined contemporary and traditional aesthetics in figurative and landscape imagery, she reflects on fated conditions of instability, change, and adaptation.
